Facing a fetal or maternal diagnosis can be heartbreaking. Our trained staff recognize the sensitive nature of terminating a wanted pregnancy and are here to assist you and your support system through the process.
Fetal Conditions
Unfortunately, 3-5% of all pregnancies result in an abnormality. These can vary in severity, and for many women may present them with a difficult decision about continuing the pregnancy. If you have chosen termination, we can work with your health care provider to facilitate further genetic testing. We can also assist in funeral services and providing a hand or footprint as a keepsake, if desired.
Maternal Conditions
For some women, continuing a pregnancy can be detrimental to their physical or emotional health. In these cases, terminating the pregnancy may be the best course of action. We understand that this is one step on your path to healing, and we are here to take care of you during this difficult time.
Miscarriage Management
If you believe you are having a miscarriage or have been diagnosed with a non-viable pregnancy you may not need surgical intervention. Schedule a same day ultrasound appointment and assessment at 253-471-3464. We recommend all patients who are actively bleeding heavily to seek urgent care.
Post-Procedure Support & Resources
We have a group of excellent referral resources for those needing additional support after the procedure.
You may also want to visit “A Heartbreaking Choice,” a private, members-only support group where those who have undergone a pregnancy termination due to a poor prenatal diagnosis, problems with their own health, or for the health of another fetus can discuss their loss and get support.
